NRA BASIC PISTOL
This 8 hour course gives you the strong foundation of knowledge and skill that you need to be a proficient handgun user. You will understand how your firearm functions and possible malfunctions and develop all the proper fundamentals of shooting that will allow you to safely advance in your firearm skills into concealed carry or other advanced courses.
INTERMEDIATE PISTOL
(Previously Concealed Carry 1)

For anyone wanting to carry, this course is essential to help you understand the legal use of deadly force (Article 35), the defensive mindset, and better prepare you for all that carrying from concealment entails. You will learn how to safely draw, get on target quickly, shoot accurately, and safely re-holster. You will begin to practice tactical and defensive shooting techniques utilizing cover and concealment.
DYNAMIC PISTOL
(Previously Concealed Carry 2)
This course continues to help you train to be a safe and effective concealed carrier. After a short review, you will spend most of the day on the range moving while shooting and practicing safe and accurate shooting from all different positions. You will run more complex drills that better simulate different shooting scenarios and utilize good decision making in your responses to threats.
NY STATE PISTOL PERMIT CLASSES
The requirements for applying to a pistol permit in NY State have changed as of September 1, 2022. The requirements are VERY different depending upon the date you submitted your application and what type of pistol permit you want.
1) If you are submitting a pistol permit application for a premise permit ONLY, or you submitted your application prior to September 1, 2022, you do NOT required to take the 16 hour live-fire training. However, some judges may require training "at their discretion" and will not approve any permit application without safety training.
2) If you submitted your application after Sept 1, 2022 and you want to get a concealed carry license, you must complete NRA Basic Pistol ($160) AND "Day 2: NY State Concealed Carry Certification" ($160) Once you complete BOTH courses, you will be given the notarized form you need to submit your pistol permit application.

OUT-OF-STATE PISTOL PERMIT CLASSES (AZ/UT/FL)
This course gives you the ability to carry your firearms in a multitude of States due to reciprocity. If you want to travel with your firearm, this is the course for you. Class is $125 and INCLUDES all required classroom training, applications, fingerprint cards, fingerprint services and photos with no additional charges. You will leave with your completed applications and all you need to do is include the associated State fees and file them. Note: certified live-fire training and printing your own application is required for Florida. Follow the link below or contact us for more information.
